IRP Continues to Lead and Collaborate at SAIR 2025
The Office of Institutional Research & Planning (IRP) proudly participated in the 52nd annual Southern Association for Institutional Research (SAIR) conference, held September 27–30, 2025, in Alexandria, Virginia. Our team once again demonstrated its commitment to advancing the field through impactful presentations and cross-institutional collaboration.
IRP Staff Presentations
- Samantha James, in collaboration with colleagues from St. Thomas University and Florida State University, co-presented Supporting and Supplementing IR Office Work Using Student Workers, Graduate Assistants, and Faculty. This session discussed strategies for leveraging students, graduate assistants, and faculty to expand IR office capacity and impact.
- Daniel Lyczak presented Informing Policy Change: An Analysis of Academic Standing in which he shared how Georgia Tech IRP supported a policy revision by analyzing GPA thresholds, creating visual tools, and guiding decision-making through data-informed insights.
Service to the SAIR Community
In addition to presenting, Samantha James served on the SAIR Board of Directors as the Member-At-Large for Sponsors & Exhibitors, helping secure vital conference funding and supporting the success of the event.
