Jason Wang and Samantha James from Georgia Tech’s Office of Institutional Research & Planning (IRP) recently attended the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Association of American Universities Data Exchange (AAUDE), held April 26–29, 2026, in Houston, Texas.
The conference brings together institutional research leaders from AAU institutions to collaborate on shared data initiatives and discuss emerging issues in higher education data and analytics.
Jason Wang contributed to AAUDE’s ongoing work through his service on the Strategic Planning Committee, which delivered the organization’s strategic plan last year, and as a member of this year’s Annual Meeting Planning Committee.
This year’s agenda included working sessions and discussions on topics such as enrollment and completions data aligned to CIP standards, faculty and instructor workload, student outcomes using external data sources (including PSEO and the National Student Clearinghouse), demographic data reporting, public records requests, and anticipated IPEDS changes.
Participation in AAUDE supports IRP’s ongoing commitment to evidence‑based decision‑making, best practices in institutional reporting, and collaboration with peer research universities.
